Hi! I’m Youmna, and I recently graduated with departmental honors from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where I studied Culture and Politics with a focus on U.S. foreign policy, international security, and peace studies. My interest for these fields began in high school through courses like AP United States History and AP United States Government & Politics, where I discovered how deeply questions of governance, democracy, and social development shape the world we live in. I earned 5s on both exams, and I enjoy helping students reach the same level of mastery and confidence.
I have over a year of private tutoring experience in APUSH and AP Gov, working one-on-one with high school students to strengthen both subject knowledge and test-taking skills. My approach is centered on making sure you not only understand the material but also feel prepared and calm on exam day. Every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to your individual needs—whether that means breaking down complex concepts, building stronger writing skills, or practicing with timed questions.
I’m passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, and I see tutoring as both preparation for exams and an opportunity to connect students with the bigger picture of why the material matters. In the future, I plan to pursue graduate study, so working with students now keeps me engaged in the kind of collaborative, idea-driven learning that I value most.
I am easy to reach and always respond quickly. Feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson. I look forward to working with you!
