Hello! My name is Michael. I have a PhD from University of Georgia Athens and an MEd from Clemson University. I am a research assistant at a local university. I have previously been certified to teach all science-area subjects at the high school level and have taught high school environmental and agricultural science. I have previously tutored middle and high school students in multiple science and math disciplines. My primary goal is to provide supplemental support for a students current classroom instruction, assist with homework and major projects.
I have taken numerous college courses in math and statistics. I possess a practical knowledge of geometry and algebra utilizing them on a daily basis in my work. I am proficient in experimental design and basic statistical analysis.
My bachelors and doctorate were very science-intense, particularly in the areas of Biology, Ecology and plant science (Botany). For the last two years I have conducted research in the area of plant science and bring a wealth of both practical and scientific knowledge in this area.
