My name is Akhila M. and I am a biology student with previous remote tutoring experience. I volunteered with LearnToBe tutoring around 2021, and it was fully remote. I tutored a second grade girl in math elementary topics. I am able to do all topics in elementary school, especially science and math since these are my strongest subjects. Additionally, I occasionally help my little brother, who is in elementary school, with homework when I am not at school. I am constantly working with other students in my class and showing them how to solve problems and how to find the right solutions when they are confused on a topic. At college, I was offered to be a supplemental instructor for Physics, so I have the capabilities to tutor students beyond elementary school as well.
As far as educational experience, I graduated salutatorian from the magnet program at South Cobb High School. I received a 3.9 GPA there. I currently have a 3.8 GPA in college, and I will be going into my senior year this upcoming fall semester. My major is biology so majority of my classes have been science based (physics, chemistry, genetics, organic chemistry, etc.), but I have taken other courses such as psychology and physiology and have done extremely well in those classes. Overall, i would like to do remote mainly, but am willing to travel when I have time.
