As a current student teacher pursuing a degree in education, I bring a strong academic foundation and a deep passion for helping students succeed. Throughout my college career, I have completed extensive coursework in instructional strategies, child development, and curriculum design. I have passed my GACE assessment that allows me to apply for my teaching certification, and my student teaching placement has allowed me to apply that knowledge in a real classroom setting. I work daily with students in a structured learning environment, assisting with lesson planning, leading instruction, and providing individual support to students with a variety of learning needs.

In addition to my student teaching, I have several years of experience working one-on-one with students through tutoring and mentoring roles. I have supported elementary and middle school students in core subjects like math, reading, and writing, adapting my methods to fit each student’s unique learning style. My approach focuses on building confidence and breaking down complex concepts into manageable, relatable steps.
