I am just starting out tutoring on Wyzant but have a combined total of 3+ years of in-person tutoring experience in all grade levels. I love working with students and helping them find a passion for learning. I hope to help foster a safe and calm learning environment that is beneficial for all parties! I really appreciate you giving me a chance to help you learn and gain confidence in a wide variety of subjects!
My favorite classes, by far were the ones that involved any sort of math (ie. chemistry, biochemistry, algebra, etc.). I have experience teaching high school students (9th-12th grades) and tutoring children of all ages in a variety of subjects as well as tutoring adults in college level science, math and English/writing courses. I can tailor lesson plans to a student's specific needs to ensure that you get the most out of each lesson. I have a passion for learning and teaching and would love to supply an environment where you can ask questions and gain the knowledge and confidence needed to perform your best in whatever subject you need help with!
I am very flexible and if you are going to be late, please just let me know. If you are more than 10 minutes late, without letting me know, I will leave the session and you will be charged for the whole hour. If you need to cancel, I would appreciate at least a 6 hour notice.
