As an experienced teacher, I have developed the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities and needs. Patience, flexibility, and compassion are my personal strengths, as a major goal of mine is to create a strong relationship with my students and their families.
Throughout my career in education, I have taught all subjects in first through fifth grades, including math, science, social studies, and science. I taught a student body that included regular education, SPED, and EIP students, working closely with them to help them improve and show growth. As a high school teacher, I have taught Mythology, Writer's Workshop, Reading, 9th - 12th English, AP Literature, and World History. For all subjects I taught at the high school level, I have taught in inclusive classrooms, helping regular education students and SPED students learn and grow.
