Hi, I’m Taylor Robinson, M.A., and I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology. Throughout my graduate studies, I developed a strong foundation in research methods, academic writing, and psychological theory. My thesis focused on voice hearing phenomena where my research identified techniques to help alleviate distressing voice hearing experiences, which gave me hands-on experience with designing surveys, analyzing data, and interpreting complex psychological concepts. I’ve also presented multiple research studies at international conferences and had my academic writing published, giving me a solid understanding of both the research process and effective scholarly communication.

In addition to my academic work, I’ve had extensive teaching experience. I worked as a Research Assistant for my university’s library special collections, where I taught weekly classes to help students develop their research skills and effectively use archival materials. I also served as a Teaching Assistant in graduate school, assisting professors in teaching undergraduate psychology courses. I was even invited to guest lecture on various psychology topics, sharing my expertise with students in a classroom setting. These experiences gave me the opportunity to work with students at different levels and help them navigate challenging concepts in both one-on-one and group settings.

My approach to tutoring is patient and personalized—I focus on breaking down complex ideas into manageable, easy-to-understand concepts. I believe that understanding the why behind psychological theories or research methods helps students build confidence and retain knowledge more effectively. Whether you're preparing for an exam, struggling with APA formatting, or looking to sharpen your critical thinking skills, I’m here to support you. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and grow academically.
