Hi my name is Nianna and I am excited to start this learning journey with you!

With over 10 years of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of learners in Pre-k to 8th grade. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught all subjects such as reading, phonics, math, social studies, and science for grades Prek-1st and 3rd-4th. In addition, I have also tutored students in phonics, reading, and math from Pre-k to 8th grade. My passion for education led me to receive a B.S. in Early Childhood Education (2013) and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education (2016).

As a certified Pre-k-5th grade educator, I am dedicated to creating a fun and engaging online or in-person learning experience for each of my learners. By getting to know their interests, setting attainable goals, and providing continuous support and encouragement, I am able to customize each session to meet their individual needs. I utilize multimedia resources, an adaptive learning approach, and provide timely feedback to track progress and plan for future learning sessions.

Outside of teaching, I love to express my creativity through baking, crafting, and writing music. These interests definitely influence my teaching style as I often incorporate them into my lesson plans to make learning more enjoyable and relevant for my learners. Whether it's a creative project or a fun assignment, I make sure that it meets their academic goals and allows them to showcase their unique talents. I am looking forward to working with your family and helping your child reach their full potential through personalized and engaging online sessions.
