Hi! I’m a dedicated tutor with over 5 years of experience helping students feel confident and capable—especially in math. I recently moved to Valdosta to pursue my Bachelor’s in Nursing at Valdosta State University, and I bring a strong background in both education and healthcare. I hold an Associate of Science in Medical Office Administration, and I’m currently enrolled in a Medical Coding program as well.
Over the past two years, I worked as a substitute teacher and support staff at a private school, where I provided one-on-one tutoring to students from elementary through high school. I’ve also earned my DCF preschool credentials and have hands-on teaching experience with younger students, which makes me confident in adapting my teaching to a wide range of learning styles and age groups.
My true passion is math, and I specialize in tutoring elementary math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 & 2, and Geometry. I’ve also had great success helping students in elementary reading, biology, and preparing for standardized tests like the SAT, as well as general exam prep.
My tutoring sessions are patient, encouraging, and always tailored to each student’s needs. I take pride in helping students not only improve their grades, but also build confidence, study skills, and a genuine understanding of the material.
