Hi! I’m Rebekkah! I recently graduated with Merit from City, University of London, and before that I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature. I'm currently working as an English teacher at a junior college. I love teaching. I think it is important, however, to focus on the individual and supporting students as much as possible academically. In school, I found that too many teachers were too busy or overworked to provide the necessary support. I was constantly in need of someone to help fill the gap! Fortunately, I found my way to tutoring both as a tutor and a tutee.
I've been tutoring and teaching for over five years and have learned the value in supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in the a group or classroom setting. During these last few years I have tutored subjects like English, History, Sociology, Anthropology, Religious Studies, and Math. I believe that structure is key when it comes to additional support. Students all have different needs when it comes to sessions. As a tutor, I strive to meet you where you are at and support as needed while helping you build the tools you need to succeed.
I want to be there for the students I work with! I want to support you as much as possible. I believe in timely responses and sessions where content, caring, and punctuality is key!
