I specialize in business English, Job Interviewing. TOEFL, IELTS and TOEIC certifications. I have extensive experience working for both small businesses and big corporations. I have a BBA in Accounting and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology.
I have been teaching online since 2015 and I have taught a variety of topics for example: business English (IT, marketing, finance, human resources) negotiations, job interviewing, email writing, presentation delivery, meeting etiquette, American culture, grammar instruction, social skills and small talk training, American idioms usage, common phrasal verbs and so much more.
I have also been a TOEIC speaking rater and Pearson essay evaluator since 2015. In addition, I have taught business writing courses and facilitated conversation clubs.
I love learning about my students and their culture. Over the years, I have developed excellent listening and rapport building skills from my experience as a mental health therapist.
My teaching philosophy is to have students be active participants in their own learning process, and see the relevancy of what they are learning! I strongly believe in giving my students immediate and frequent feedback during the lesson.
I have a unique therapeutic teaching style yet hold students accountable for their learning goals. A rare combination!
