Hi! My name is Sanjeena, and I am a Computer Science major at Georgia Institute of Technology with a genuine passion for teaching and helping students grow confident in their learning. I believe that anyone can understand challenging material with the right guidance, explanations, and encouragement.

My tutoring experience began in late middle school, when I volunteered at my local Nepali school, helping younger students learn language fundamentals and build strong academic habits. Through this experience, I developed the ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I have continued to apply and refine these skills while helping classmates and peers with technical and problem-solving subjects.

As a Computer Science student at Georgia Tech, I am trained to think analytically and break down complex topics into manageable steps. My teaching style emphasizes understanding over memorization. I focus on identifying where confusion starts, explaining the “why” behind concepts, and reinforcing learning through guided practice. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to meeting students where they are academically.

I tutor with the goal of not only improving grades, but also helping students build confidence and independence in their learning. I am happy to tailor lessons to individual needs, whether that means reviewing fundamentals, preparing for exams, or working through homework together.
