With more than two decades of experience as an educator, instructional leader, and school administrator, I bring a deep understanding of how students learn and what they need to thrive academically. I am a certified educator with a strong background in teaching, curriculum implementation, supervision, and educational leadership. My career includes 10 years as a classroom teacher, 6 years as an assistant principal, and 8 years as a principal, giving me a comprehensive perspective on student learning from early elementary through high school. My classroom experience includes working with students in grades K-5 in both whole group and small group settings, as well as providing individualized one-on-one support. I have extensive experience helping young learners build foundational skills in reading, writing, math, and science, and I am skilled at differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs. My administrative experience includes serving as Assistant Principal followed by my current role as Principal. These roles have strengthened my expertise in instructional coaching, curriculum alignment, student support, and creating positive learning environments. They also allow me to bring a unique, big picture understanding of academic expectations, learning progressions, and effective teaching strategies to my tutoring sessions. My tutoring style is supportive, structured, and student-centered.
