Hello, I'm Aditya! I graduated cum laude from Duke University with a B.S. in Chemistry and am currently a fourth-year medical student at Washington University in St. Louis. I have earned distinction in all of my clinical clerkships and scored in the 83rd percentile on the USMLE Step 2 exam. I am passionate about tutoring and mentoring students in math and science.
During college, I realized that many students struggle not because of ability, but because courses emphasize memorization over true understanding. I found that focusing on underlying principles and reinforcing them through structured problem-solving led to both strong performance and long-term retention. I bring this same approach to tutoring—helping students understand concepts deeply so they can succeed beyond just the next exam.
I aim to make sessions both effective and engaging, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I also emphasize active practice and provide additional study resources tailored to each student.
I have experience tutoring students one-on-one in SAT/ACT math and AP Chemistry, as well as working with small groups of middle school students (Pre-Algebra through Precalculus). These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and support students in developing confidence.
My goal is to help students become independent, confident problem-solvers. I am responsive, easy to reach, and committed to student success.
