What sets me apart as a teacher is I understand that the quantity of language expressed by myself, and your child, is the first measure of quality. Constant encouragement to use words and practice sounds, is the foundation for an experience that is as close as possible to living in a completely French-speaking social environment.
Language Immersion requires a truly engaging approach, to allow new speakers to understand and RESPOND to their teacher appropriately. I will work with your child's existing school curriculum and books, to develop listening and speaking skills in a way that naturally expands comprehension, pronunciation and vocabulary in relevant content and subjects.
In addition, I require students to immerse themselves even when I am not with them. The plethora of entertaining French content on youtube and Netflix leaves no excuse for not using screentime to maximum neural advantage! I am happy to share recommended shows for different age groups and interests.
Lastly, I have a small library of French children's books, available to borrow between lessons.
