The best students aren’t always the ones who study the longest. They’re the ones who truly understand what they’re learning. My goal is to help students build that understanding through personalized instruction that makes challenging concepts clear, engaging, and memorable.

I graduated from Mercer University as a Presidential Scholar and Honors student with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minors in Physics and Chemistry. As a healthcare professional with over five years of tutoring and teaching experience, I bring both strong academic training and real-world application into my lessons, helping students connect what they learn in the classroom to how it applies in practice.

I believe every student learns differently, and I tailor my teaching style to meet students where they are academically. I’ve worked with middle school, high school, and college students in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and SAT/ACT preparation in both one-on-one and small group settings. Whether a student is building foundational skills, strengthening problem-solving ability, or preparing for high-stakes exams, I focus on making difficult concepts approachable and easier to retain.

My approach is structured but supportive: I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, actively thinking through problems, and building real confidence in their abilities. Over time, this leads not just to improved grades and test scores, but to stronger independent learning skills that carry beyond a single assignment or exam.

Above all, my goal is for every student to leave each session feeling more capable and more confident than when they arrived, and to discover that subjects they once found intimidating can become ones they genuinely understand and succeed in.
