I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia where I studied Criminal Justice and Sociology. During my time at UGA, I developed strong research, writing, and critical thinking skills through academic coursework and legal internships. I have worked with several legal organizations including a large international law firm and local legal offices, where I assisted attorneys with legal research, reviewing documents, and preparing written materials. These experiences required precise writing, logical analysis, and the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas, which are the same skills necessary for strong academic essays and LSAT preparation.
My tutoring focuses primarily on English essay writing and LSAT preparation, particularly logical reasoning and argument analysis. When working with students on writing, I help them learn how to organize their thoughts, build strong thesis statements, and develop clear, well-supported arguments. For LSAT students, I focus on breaking down complex logical reasoning questions into simple steps so students can understand patterns, strengthen their analytical thinking, and approach questions with confidence. My goal is not just to help students get the correct answer, but to help them understand the reasoning behind it so they can apply those skills independently.
I enjoy working with high school and college students and prefer a one-on-one tutoring approach where lessons are tailored to each student’s needs. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and focused on building confidence. Whether a student needs help improving essay structure, strengthening critical reading skills, or preparing for the LSAT, I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions and steadily improve their academic abilities.
