I am an early childhood educator with a strong background in working with preschool and early elementary students. I am currently completing my training in Early Childhood Education and have gained hands-on experience through my practicum and classroom field placements. During this time, I have worked closely with mentor teachers in structured classroom environments where I support instruction in literacy, math, and foundational learning skills. My coursework and field experience have also included working with diverse learners, including English language learners, and applying strategies that support language development, comprehension, and engagement.
My teaching experience has primarily taken place in preschool and early learning classroom settings, where I have worked with children ages 3–8. In these environments, I have supported both whole-group instruction and small-group interventions, as well as one-on-one learning support for students who need additional help. I focus on using hands-on, developmentally appropriate methods such as play-based learning, visual supports, repetition, and interactive activities to help students build confidence and understanding. I also prioritize building strong relationships with students so they feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn.
As a tutor, I bring patience, consistency, and a nurturing approach to help students strengthen their academic skills and grow at their own pace. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and develop a love for learning.
