I am an experienced secondary education teacher with 10 years of classroom experience. My specialty is History and Math. I have a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and advanced teaching certificate in History. For Math, I have over 5 years of teaching experience with Coordinated Algebra and Advanced Algebra at a high school level.

My expertise also includes standardized testing with the SSAT and SAT. As an educator, I understand how challenging it can be to juggle classwork and study for major exams. My tutoring experience has helped me design plans to help my students gain confidence and maximize their scores. As a result, many of my clients have been able to increase their scores 100 or more points per section on their SSAT or SAT exams.

Lastly, I love tutoring because I can efficiently focus on students on a 1-to-1 level, which is not always accessible in a general classroom setting. My experience has taught me that the classroom can be challenging for many students to express themselves. As a tutor, my goal is not only to improve my students' scores but to also empower them with the confidence to succeed in and out of the classroom.
