Hi! My name is Tisha. I have extensive experience in assisting students of all levels to improve their skills in statistics, biostatistics, healthcare marketing strategy, American Sign Language, and other kinesthetic methods of learning. In light of my experience as a Deaf tutor, I would deem my tutoring to be efficient and effective.
I was a cum laude honor student when I received my BA in Business Administration from American InterContinental University. As a graduate of American InterContinental University, I also earned my Master of Business Administration degree. In 2013, I graduated from Capella University with a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Counseling Psychology and a minor in Clinical Psychology.
I worked as a certified nurse assistant for the deaf and blind elderly, senior citizens at the nursing home for three years. I then worked as a residential counselor for five years, working with individuals with dual diagnoses. After that, I worked for two years as a paraprofessional at an elementary school for the deaf, working one-on-one with autistic students. Over the course of my career, I have worked as a consultant for a marketing agency.
I continue to enjoy tutoring people in areas where I am knowledgeable. It has been my observation that most college-level students are contacting me. All other levels of education are welcome to contact me.
