I am currently a double-major engineering student at Georgia Southern University, pursuing degrees in Manufacturing Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. My coursework is highly technical and math-intensive, covering subjects such as calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, statics, dynamics, and engineering analysis. I thrive in rigorous academic environments and consistently perform well in challenging mathematics courses, which has strengthened both my problem-solving skills and my ability to think logically and systematically.

Alongside my studies, I have developed a strong passion for tutoring and teaching, particularly in math-based subjects. I genuinely enjoy helping others understand concepts that may initially feel overwhelming. My approach focuses on breaking complex problems into clear, manageable steps and explaining the “why” behind each method, not just the final answer. I aim to adapt explanations to each student’s learning style, whether that means using visual examples, real-world applications, or step-by-step walkthroughs.

As a tutor, my goal is to make math feel approachable and less intimidating. I believe that with the right explanation and encouragement, anyone can improve their confidence and performance in math. I take pride in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building a solid foundation that will support them in future coursework.

Approved Subjects

ACT Math

ACT Math

I am currently an engineering college student with a strong background in mathematics, algebra, geometry, and problem-solving. My engineering coursework requires me to apply mathematical concepts regularly and approach challenging problems logically and systematically. I enjoy helping students understand the reasoning behind math problems rather than simply memorizing formulas. I can help ACT Math students build confidence, strengthen weak areas, and develop effective strategies for solving problems under time constraints.
Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I am currently double majoring in Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Southern University. I have successfully completed all mathematical core courses and am subject to graduate this upcoming December.
Calculus

Calculus

I am currently an engineering college student with extensive experience applying calculus to engineering and mathematical problems. My coursework has given me a strong foundation in derivatives, integrals, limits, related rates, and applications of calculus. I focus on helping students understand why a method works rather than simply memorizing formulas. I can help students build confidence in calculus, work through challenging problems step-by-step, and develop problem-solving strategies they can apply independently.
Linear Algebra

Linear Algebra

I am currently an engineering college student with a strong background in linear algebra and mathematical problem-solving. I have experience working with matrices, determinants, systems of equations, vector spaces, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, linear transformations, and change of basis. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps so students can understand the reasoning behind each problem. I can help students prepare for exams, work through homework problems, and build confidence with linear algebra.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I am currently an engineering college student with a strong foundation in mathematics and experience applying precalculus concepts to more advanced engineering coursework. I can help students with functions, polynomial and rational equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometry, graphing, and algebraic problem-solving. I focus on breaking down difficult problems into manageable steps and explaining the reasoning behind each solution. My goal is to help students strengthen their fundamentals, improve their problem-solving skills, and feel more confident going into exams and future math courses.
SAT Math

SAT Math

I am currently an engineering college student with a strong background in mathematics and problem-solving. My engineering coursework requires me to regularly apply algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and advanced mathematical concepts to solve challenging problems. I can help SAT Math students strengthen their understanding of key concepts, improve their problem-solving strategies, and become more confident with timed questions. I focus on explaining problems step-by-step and helping students understand the reasoning behind each solution.
