Hi, I'm a fine art graduate from Piedmont University who has now found herself working as a concept artist for games and painting environments for animation. I've always loved teaching, and for approximately two years I worked as an art instructor, instructing both classes and private students. In terms of my artwork, I'm passionate about color, landscapes, and narrative. Although I am capable of teaching numerous techniques, my work tends to be more stylized.

Since every artist's journey is unique, I try to be adaptable. Each student brings a different personality, learning style, and goals to the table for me to work with, so at the end of the day it’s about allowing them to get the most out of it.
For those just starting out, a strong knowledge of the fundamentals (line, color, form, value, etc.) is key to your growth, so that will be a big focus of our sessions. However, there’s no reason why it can’t be fun too, so exercises are intermingled with finished pieces to help build confidence in your skills.
If this isn’t your first rodeo, I’ll map out a plan more tailored to your goals and current strengths and weaknesses to get you where you want to go.
I truly love what I do, and while I don’t know everything (because who does?), I will always bring my best. So, with that in mind, I’d be happy to play a role in guiding you on your artistic journey.
