I have a Bachelor's in Music Performance from GSU, which included violin classes and violin teaching classes. 7 years of teaching experience for the violin itself, and lessons with many of the students from GSU itself. Not my primary instrument, but I have taught many violin and viola students over the years, and they have placed well in auditions for Honors Orchestra and All-State.

I have had good progress.

I had 3 sessions with Nicholas so far. I had a trial session with other institution before him and I couldn't even play out any sound from the string and this experience made me feel violin was really hard. However I could start to make basic sounds at my first class and to play simple songs such as Jingle Bell and twinkle twinkle little star at my 3rd class under Nicholas' instructions. Nicolas is not a type of the person who would praise you passionately or say "great job" all the times. He is practical and tries to tend to help students make good progress.
