Hello,
My name is Patton. I like, hopefully, most of you love the game of basketball. I have been really blessed in my ability to play and understand the game. Hello,
My name is Patton. I like, hopefully, most of you love the game of basketball. I have been really blessed in my ability to play and understand the game. I was very fortunate growing up being around the game. My father was a high-school coach for 34 years until he retired last year. So I have literally been around basketball since about the time I started walking. When I was young, I moved to the state of Kentucky, where the sport I already loved to play is king. It is highly competitive there and I had to work and learn at a very high level to be one of the best; which was my goal. My first two years of high school ball, I played for a very prestigious basketball school in Kentucky for one of the best coaches in the country. He's a National Hall of Fame Coach and have coached McDonald's All-American teams. My last two years of school I transferred to the school that my father coached at to play for him where I was All-State point guard my final two years of high school. After high school I committed to Union College and since then have coached both my former high schools for a number of years.
I love teaching and helping kids, young men or women become better. I am a stickler for solid fundamental coaching, although I want the game to be enjoyable and fun.
My main goal is to prepare my students to work hard, be smart and fundamentally sound.
Since I graduated I have been an assistant coach in many basketball camps, seminars, and clinics for high preforming teams.
I cannot wait to get to work and have some fun playing and excelling at the awesome game of basketball. Let's do it!
