Hello! My name is Jai, and I'm a certified educator with a Master's degree in Teaching for grades k-5. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with students of all ages in both classroom settings and one-on-one tutoring environments, and I've discovered that my true passion lies in helping young learners build confidence in math and writing—two subjects that form the foundation for all future academic success.
My teaching approach is rooted in patience, encouragement, and meeting each student exactly where they are. I believe every child learns differently, so I tailor my methods to match their unique learning style. For math, I use hands-on activities, visual aids, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts concrete and accessible. When it comes to writing, I focus on helping students find their voice and express their ideas clearly, whether they're working on creative stories, persuasive essays, or simply building strong sentence structure. I celebrate small wins along the way because I know that building confidence is just as important as mastering content.
I have extensive experience working with students in grades K-5, and I understand the developmental stages and challenges that come with each grade level.
