I am currently enrolled in a Ed.D in Math Education at Teachers College at Columbia University. Prior to that, I completed a Bachelor's degree in Math and Computer Science at Georgia Tech. During my time as an undergrad, I tutored several other college students. I tutored one student (my roommate) in Calculus and Linear Algebra, and I tutored two other college students who were struggling with their Probability Theory class. I also served as a grader for Linear Algebra and Probability and Statistics classes at Georgia Tech, where I would sometimes grade hundreds of problems per week and give relevant feedback to the students.
At the end of the day, I enjoy teaching and working with students. I love to talk to students and figure out how they learn. Doing math becomes tiresome when one does it alone for long, but when teaching it to students, it becomes interesting. For this reason, I wish to be in a job that allows me to interact with others regularly, regardless if it’s about mathematics or not.
