I am a current Electrical and Computer Engineering PhD candidate at Georgia Tech with a research focus in machine learning and adjacent mathematics. My coursework and teaching experience is heavily based in mathematics, and I have graduate-level experience in both mathematics, machine learning, and programming. I currently hold a Computer Engineering BS from Auburn University and an Electrical and Computer Engineering MS from Georgia Tech.
I have been hired as a teaching assistant for both an undergraduate class (discrete mathematics) and a graduate class (convex optimization). In both, I helped design homeworks and held extensive office hours and help sessions for students. I also have experience in both private tutoring (programming, mathematics, and machine learning) and tutoring on other platforms (mathematics including discrete math, statistics, and probability). These all involved giving graduate lectures, long debugging and Q+A sessions, and building intuition for mathematical concepts from the ground up.
I have experience in one on one tutoring with working professionals. I also have graduate teaching experience in a classroom setting (lecture and help sessions), as well as teaching at the undergraduate level. I also have experience with high school students in a professional tutoring context. Together, these comprise experience in classroom settings, personalized group settings, and one on one settings.
