Hello, I’m Samy! I am a medical student with a Master’s in Pharmacology and over five years of experience tutoring and teaching a variety of subjects, including math, science, and standardized test preparation. During my undergraduate and graduate studies, I consistently made the President’s and Dean’s lists, and I have also worked as a lead clinical scientist. My areas of expertise include biology, anatomy, biochemistry, math up to calculus, pharmacology, physics, standardized test preparation, and honors and AP courses within math and science. I have taught students from elementary grades through college and graduate levels, offering both one-on-one and group instruction.

I am highly proficient in the pre-med curriculum and sciences, and I have also tutored nursing, physical therapy, and other pre-health and professional students. My instruction focuses on filling content gaps while building the confidence needed to excel on quizzes, exams, and assessments. I tailor my teaching to turn students’ weaknesses into strengths, using practice questions customized to each student’s unique needs and goals. My students not only pass but excel in their assessments, and I’m proud to say I have never had a student fail. My approach has also led to average SAT score increases of 200 points and ACT score improvements of 4-5 points. With a 3.9 GPA and scores in the 90th percentile on the SAT and ACT, I am passionate about helping students break down complex concepts, making them both clear and memorable.
