I was an Applied Math major and taught Algebra and Geometry before embarking on an IT career. I have also tutored and done substitute teaching over the years.
I have a Graduate degree in Information & Communication Technology, and part of the curriculum was to learn SQL, a skill that I use to this day in my day to day professional life. Coupling that with my teaching experience, I can relate a student's understanding to the SQL issue at hand as well as finding different ways to explain the SQL concept that is being taught.
