First and foremost, I am a lover of knowledge and education. I am here to help students gain that same passion for learning and advancing themselves in a world where higher education is increasingly important.

I am a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia (BA English '14). I have a lot of experience with comprehending texts, from novels that are commonly taught at the middle and high school levels to the most complex works taught in the upper levels of college. I am very good with developing topics to write about in relation to assigned texts, as well as proofreading and editing other student's papers. I also have experience with comprehending and/or writing short stories and poetry.

I have experience tutoring students in all aspects of English, such as: comprehension, grammar, and writing. I also have informal experience teaching English as a foreign language for those who do not speak English as their first language.

While I am more than qualified to teach English grammar, I am planning to pursue a career in teaching English literature at the secondary level, so I'd be really excited to work through novels, short stories, or poetry with students who need or would like additional help to get ahead in their studies.

I have years of training in the realm of English grammar, literature (novels, short stories, poetry, etc), proofreading, editing, and writing.

I would love the opportunity to help anyone who is interested in taking their English language and literature skills to the next level. I love to see students feel more assured in their abilities to advance themselves personally and professionally through a greater understanding of English.
