I graduated from the University of Georgia with a 3.85 GPA in Mechanical Engineering. While in school, I worked as a teacher's assistant (TA) roaming the class and helping students one by one solve their in-class problems. I ended up meeting a lot of lifetime friends just helping them out in their day-to-day studies. I always made sure to try to make people enjoy the learning process. My time as a TA was fantastic and I'm looking to get back into the game as a tutor.
So, what sets me apart? I understand current demands and challenges of being a student. A classroom today is vastly different that a classroom even as recent as 10 years ago, and I like to reflect that in my tutoring. I promote using powerful tools like video walkthroughs, online assignments, and collaborative worksheets. However, I never forget the most important part: THE STUDENT.
