In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I attended school in Paris. I have a degree in translation and am also a certified interpreter.
I have done a great deal of public speaking. I am very familiar with the principles that serve speakers best and how to successfully excel at those principles.
I believe in preparation, timing your speech, writing it down so that it will enter you head and repeating it out loud.
You must also make sure to engage the audience and watch that they are interested in what you are saying. If not, you may have to change gears.
I have worked with people in various settings to improve their public speaking.
I have been certified for tutoring in reading by Wyzant. I have worked with children to improve their reading skills utilizing different techniques. I am passionate about what I do and your child's success will be mine as well.
