I hold a B.A. in Spanish, summa cum laude, and have completed all doctoral coursework (ABD) in Spanish Literature. I’ve supported students across a wide range of ages and learning profiles in both classroom and one-on-one settings, and I bring a calm, thoughtful approach to every session.

I specialize in Spanish tutoring (including AP, IB, and heritage speakers), college essay coaching, executive functioning support, and college and career advising. I have deep experience working with both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners and am especially skilled at helping students who need structure, reassurance, and individualized pacing. My sessions are highly personalized and focused on helping students meet academic goals while building clarity, confidence, and independence.

As a college coach, I support students through every phase of the application process, including school list development, essay writing, and strategy planning. I also work with high school and college students as a life coach, helping them strengthen organization, motivation, and self-management. Whether we’re tackling a Spanish subjunctive review or refining a personal statement, I help students engage with the work in a way that feels meaningful and manageable.

Career Development

Career Development

As a current Dean of Students with over 20 years of experience in elite academic settings, I work closely with high school and college students to support not just their academic development, but their future planning. Career development coaching has been a natural extension of my work—helping students identify their interests, strengths, and goals as they consider majors, internships, and long-term paths. I specialize in supporting students at transitional points: choosing a college major, considering first internships, preparing for informational interviews, or creating their first résumés and cover letters. My coaching focuses on clarity, confidence, and direction. I ask thoughtful questions that help students better articulate who they are, what matters to them, and how they want to contribute to the world. In addition to practical planning, I help students navigate uncertainty and self-doubt. Whether we’re researching career paths, setting goals, or preparing professional communications, I offer grounded, supportive guidance that builds agency and purpose. I’ve coached both neurodivergent and neurotypical students and believe every young adult deserves a sense of possibility and a path forward that fits them.
College Counseling

College Counseling

I have over 20 years of experience in elite independent schools, where I have worked closely with high school students as both a college counselor and Dean of Students. In these roles, I’ve guided students and families through all aspects of the college application process, including school research and list-building, personal statement and supplemental essay development, application strategy, and interview preparation. As a Dean, I’ve also supported students with executive functioning, academic planning, and navigating complex educational journeys, often working closely with neurodivergent students and those with non-traditional paths. My approach to college counseling is highly individualized, focused on helping students reflect deeply on their goals, tell their stories authentically, and find colleges where they can thrive. Many of the students I’ve worked with have gone on to attend selective and highly selective colleges across the U.S. and abroad.
Executive Functioning

Executive Functioning

I am a current Dean of Students and academic coach with over 20 years of experience supporting middle school, high school, and college students in elite academic environments. Much of my work centers on helping students develop executive functioning skills including time management, organization, task initiation, and long-term planning in ways that reduce stress and increase independence. I have worked extensively with both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners, and I understand how to tailor my coaching to meet the unique needs of each student. I specialize in helping students who struggle with procrastination, shifting priorities, or feeling overwhelmed by unstructured time. My sessions are calm, clear, and highly personalized, offering a supportive environment where students can build sustainable systems for success.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I am a current Dean of Students and experienced college coach with more than 20 years in elite independent schools, where I’ve guided hundreds of students through the college application process. One of my core areas of focus is college essay and personal statement coaching, helping students find their voice, clarify their message, and craft essays that are both authentic and compelling. My approach is student-centered and highly personalized. I support students from brainstorming to final polish, offering thoughtful, detailed feedback that strengthens structure, voice, and clarity without taking over their work. Whether a student needs help getting started or revising a draft that isn’t quite working, I help them move forward with confidence and focus. Because I also work as a life coach and academic dean, I understand the emotional and developmental side of this process. I specialize in working with students who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to tell their story. My goal is not only to produce a strong final product, but also to help students better understand themselves along the way.
