As a Nationally Registered Paramedic with over a decade of high-intensity experience, I specialize in bridging the gap between textbook theory and advanced clinical practice. My journey began as a U.S. Army Flight Medic, serving honorably in Iraq and Afghanistan. My dedication to clinical excellence earned me the Air Medal and the Combat Medical Badge, honors that reflect my ability to perform under the most demanding conditions. Today, I am a certified Paramedic with 10+ years of experience, serving with Grady EMS since 2022. Beyond standard certifications like ACLS, NRP, and PALS, I maintain post-licensure expertise in advanced critical care, including Ventilator management, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP), Transvenous Cardiac Pacing, and pre-hospital blood product administration.
I focus on one-on-one mentorship designed to help students master the "why" behind emergency medicine. My teaching approach is proven: I recently mentored my partner through the transition from EMT-B to successfully passing the NREMT-P, helping her launch her career as a Paramedic. Whether you are a student tackling initial NREMT certification or a provider looking to sharpen your skills in advanced hemodynamics or difficult airway management, I adapt my methods to your specific learning style.
At this time, I primarily offer online tutoring sessions to accommodate busy professional schedules, though in-person sessions can be arranged on an as-needed basis. My goal is to use my unique military and civilian background to provide you with the critical thinking skills necessary to excel in the field and on your exams.

EMT/ NREMT

EMT/ NREMT

I am a Nationally Registered Paramedic with over 10 years of high-acuity field experience, including service as a decorated U.S. Army Flight Medic in Iraq and Afghanistan. My expertise encompasses advanced life support and critical care skills such as ventilator management, transvenous pacing, and IABP, which allow me to explain complex NREMT topics through practical, real-world application. I have a proven track record of mentorship, recently helping a student successfully transition from EMT-B to passing their NREMT-P on the first attempt. My teaching method focuses on fostering clinical judgment and understanding the 'why' behind medical protocols to ensure students are fully prepared for both their exams and their careers in the field.
Pharmacology

Pharmacology

I have over a decade of hands-on experience in emergency pharmacology, ranging from battlefield medicine as an Army Flight Medic to advanced protocols as a Critical Care Paramedic. My expertise includes a deep understanding of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and the administration of high-alert medications like pressors, paralytics, and blood products in the pre-hospital environment. I focus on helping students move beyond simple memorization to understand the 'why' behind drug mechanisms and safe administration practices. My teaching style incorporates real-world clinical scenarios to help students master medication math and prepare for advanced certifications like the NREMT-P or nursing boards.
