Adaptive Curriculum Teacher Helping Students Succeed

I hold a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences, along with a minor in Instructional Technology and Design. I am a certified special education adaptive curriculum teacher and will begin a master’s program in Special Education Adaptive Curriculum in January.

I have six years of experience as a special education paraprofessional and am currently a 3–5 grade adaptive curriculum teacher. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students with a wide range of abilities, learning needs, and behavioral challenges, providing individualized support both in the classroom and in one-on-one settings. I specialize in adaptive and differentiated instruction, using strategies tailored to each student’s strengths, challenges, and learning style.

I have experience teaching students in grades 3–5, supporting literacy, math, and functional life skills. My approach focuses on building confidence, fostering independence, and helping students achieve measurable progress through personalized lessons, hands-on activities, and positive reinforcement. I have also volunteered in various educational settings, further expanding my experience with diverse learners.
