hold a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Data Science with a minor in Psychology from New York University’s Stern School of Business. This academic background has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, quantitative reasoning, and critical thinking, as well as an understanding of how people learn differently depending on their individual strengths. I use this perspective to adapt my tutoring sessions so they are engaging, clear, and effective for each student I work with.
For the past two years, I have tutored students ranging in age from eight to eighteen, primarily focusing on mathematics at the primary and secondary school levels, as well as standardized test preparation for the SAT and ACT. My experience has been almost entirely one-on-one, which has allowed me to tailor lessons to each student’s goals, learning style, and pace. I focus not only on improving academic performance but also on building confidence, study skills, and test-taking strategies that students can carry with them beyond a single subject or exam.
Tutoring has been a rewarding part of my professional journey, and I have seen firsthand how consistent guidance can help students achieve breakthroughs. Whether helping a younger student grasp the fundamentals of math or supporting a high school student as they prepare for college entrance exams, I strive to create a learning environment that is encouraging, patient, and goal-oriented. I look forward to continuing to help students reach their full potential.
