I'm Laurén, a speech-language pathologist with an education background and 15 years of experience I have a passion for helping students find their voice. I have successfully worked with both children and adults with various special needs (developmental delay, ASD, Intellectual Disability, learning disabilities, dyslexia, aphasia, dementia, TBI, just to name a few) from Pre-K to college level in the areas of language, reading, writing, and speech.

I specialize in helping my students comprehend various concept by teaching tips and tricks to breaking down complex reading texts, to learn and remember vocabulary, use context clues, as well as use these concepts in their academic future and life. I have experience teaching high school level and college level reading and writing courses. I love these subjects especially writing. I have written published articles as well as segments in other published materials.

Because of my training and experience in providing support in these areas to children with special needs, I take pride in mastering the art of simplification and practicality to help my students grasp even the most complicated subject.
