Bio

Since 1982, I have been actively associating with Deaf and Sign Language communities in the United States, Canada and overseas. I began interpreting professionally in 1991 in New York City and Washington D.C.. I have interpreted in K-12 schools, colleges, universities, medical and legal settings. My favorite part of interpreting is in the medical arena for Deaf students, Deaf professionals and Deaf patients.

Over the span of 1997 to 2014, I was an employed interpreter for the Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES), the National Technical Institute of the Deaf (NTID), and the University of Rochester Medical Center. In 2014, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia where I am currently a freelance interpreter with several agencies. I interpret in a variety of venues such a medical, educational and business.
