I am currently a Master of Science student at the University of Georgia’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, where I study wildlife science. I earned my B.S. in Ecology from UGA’s Odum School of Ecology with a minor in Wildlife Sciences. My education has given me a strong foundation in biology, ecology, environmental science, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, statistics, and related sciences.

I am an active scientific researcher and published author, with experience presenting research at scientific conferences and communicating science to both professional and public audiences. My research has involved reading and interpreting scientific literature, writing about complex topics, analyzing data, and explaining scientific concepts clearly. I have also worked as a public science educator through the Atlanta Science Festival, where I helped teach visitors about wildlife research and monitoring.

English and reading have always been a genuine passion of mine as well. In high school, I served as a peer tutor for a variety of subjects, my favorites being AP English Language and AP English Literature, earning a 5 on both AP exams. Although I ultimately pursued my passion for science, reading, writing, and communicating ideas have remained a major part of my academic career.

My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging, and individualized. I focus on helping students understand concepts rather than simply giving them answers. I break difficult material into manageable pieces, use real-world examples, and adapt my explanations to each student’s learning style. My long-term goal is to become a college professor with a research and teaching appointment, so I am genuinely excited about teaching and helping students build both their knowledge and confidence. I want every student to leave a session feeling more capable of tackling the material independently.
