I am a master’s-prepared Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Instructor with experience in medical-surgical and intermediate care nursing. I have worked extensively with nursing students, new graduate nurses, and bedside staff as they develop confidence, clinical judgment, and safe patient care practices.
My approach goes beyond memorization and test preparation. I help nursing students connect classroom concepts to real patient care by developing skills in pathophysiology, prioritization, patient assessment, chart review, communication, and clinical decision-making. These same critical-thinking skills are essential for success in nursing school, clinical rotations, and NCLEX-style questions.
I enjoy working with students in pathophysiology, nursing fundamentals, medical-surgical nursing, clinical courses, capstones, and senior practicums. During our sessions, we may work through patient scenarios, lab interpretation, medication considerations, prioritization, nursing interventions, SBAR communication, and time management.
My goal is simple: to help you think like a nurse, build confidence, and feel prepared for both exams and real patient care.
