I am a current PhD student with a graduate degree and five years of tutoring experience across more than 10 subjects, working with K–12 students, college students, and adult learners. My background includes coursework in educational psychology as well as experience in academic programming and student support, which has shaped an approach that is both academically rigorous and deeply attentive to the human side of learning.

What sets my tutoring apart is that I do not simply help students complete assignments. I help them understand how they learn, why they get stuck, and what it takes to move forward with confidence. I believe students learn best in an environment that is supportive, patient, and emotionally safe, while also structured and intellectually challenging. My sessions are designed to create meaningful engagement and challenge so that students leave more confident, capable, and self-aware.

My work is especially shaped by the diagnostic and communication system I have developed. Rather than relying only on homework help or surface-level impressions, I track both subject-specific skills and the thinking processes underneath them. This allows me to tailor sessions with precision and provide families with feedback that is concrete, useful, and easy to understand. Parents can clearly see where their child is performing, what patterns are emerging, and how our work is evolving over time.

I also emphasize active engagement through questioning, reflection, and carefully designed activities. When I use games or playful structures, they serve a clear purpose: to build skill, spark curiosity, and help students see subjects like math and language as something they can make sense of. I also incorporate reflection and mindfulness so students can better understand what helps them focus, manage challenges, and advocate for themselves.
