Hi! I'm Brittany and I'm currently a 6th grade Earth Science teacher with four school-age children of my own. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from Point University. I later decided to use my degree to become a teacher and went on to earn my Master's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Biology from Georgia College and State University. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in both the life sciences and effective teaching strategies.
I've spent the past two years teaching 6th grade Earth Science. Prior to that, I spent two years teaching Middle Grades math support classes, where I focused on building foundational skills and boosting student confidence. I also have experience tutoring middle school math one-on-one in a virtual setting, which taught me how to tailor my approach to each student's unique learning style.
I'm passionate about making science meaningful, approachable, and engaging for students. Whether you're working through Earth, life, or physical sciences or diving into high school Biology, I'm here to break things down in a way that makes sense and builds confidence.
