Throughout years of substituting and being a part of after-school care, I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school ages. I have loved working with each of these age groups, as each of them has its positives. I love teaching all things ELA, from grammar to writing to reading.
I absolutely love ELA and how any student can bring their interests into the content. I love working with students who do not prefer ELA because I enjoy showing them that ELA can bring in things they are also interested in. I love helping students make connections and giving them resources to put in their toolbox to help them when they are confused. I would love the opportunity to work with your student and help them become more confident in ELA.
