Encouraging and Accommodating
I worked with Mason for 2 weeks leading up to my first case interview, and I hadn’t done any case prep before working with him. By the time I was walking into my interview, I felt like I had been practicing case interviews for months! Mason was very encouraging throughout the process and never overwhelmed me with too much information or made me feel like I was behind if I was struggling with something. I was very worried going into the first session that two weeks wasn’t enough time to prepare for my first case interview but Mason assured me that I would be ready and that he would do everything he could to help me feel prepared. I wouldn’t have been so confident walking into the interview without his help. He made sure I knew exactly what to do on my own after our session to review before the next one but found a balance so that I didn’t overwork myself in the two weeks. We started off with the basic outline of the case interview and worked through them together and by the end of our sessions, I was able to go through multiple mock interviews completely on my own. He would cater each individual lesson to exactly what I needed to work on. Mason was so flexible with scheduling hours and would always work around my schedule. I would definitely recommend Mason for behavioral and case interviews because he puts so much time and effort into doing everything he can to help you at every step of the process!

Mason walked me through two types of classic case interviews, market entry and pricing strategy. He taught me how to ask questions to clarify the problem, how to solve case problems in a structured way, and how to build common ground with the interviewers.
