I bring a background in corporate finance and operations to my tutoring, focused on making Excel and financial concepts click by connecting them to how businesses actually run. I am completing my MBA, with graduation expected in fall 2026, and I work as an Operations Business Partner in a finance analyst capacity, supporting project setup, invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts receivable across multiple business markets. Before that, I worked in property management, and during my transition into finance I taught myself financial modeling from scratch to build a strong enough portfolio to land finance roles, so I know firsthand where these concepts tend to confuse people.
My teaching experience comes from informally mentoring coworkers and MBA classmates on Excel and financial modeling, walking them through building models and understanding the logic behind the numbers, not just the formulas. I tailor each session to how the student thinks and where they are actually stuck, and I tie every skill back to how it is used in real corporate finance and operations work, so what they learn actually sticks beyond the assignment.
