Hi, I am Chris, and I am a graduate with a Master's degree in Software Engineering. I also graduated cum laude from my bachelor's program in Computer Game Development and Design with a concentration in Computer Science, and before that I received an Associate's degree in Physics. Throughout my education I discovered a passion for tutoring and teaching by helping my fellow classmates with homework and creating study groups to prepare for tests. I thoroughly enjoyed helping others to achieve better understanding of the subject materials.
I started to pick up tutoring jobs outside of university, helping students from 2nd grade up to 12th with all levels of math and physics, and I developed a student-centered tutoring approach by curating my lessons and explanations to the individual needs of the student. I understood that different students have different way of learning, so I needed a style that was versatile and adaptable to help understand where students were getting stuck and how to help them find their way.
I have worked as a dedicated tutor for over 3 years, and I have helped students from second grade through the college level to understand subject matters, improve test scores, and even prepare to graduate. I look forward to being able to help my next student reach their goals.
