Bonjour!
I’m Elizabeth Hanson. I have 25+ years experience teaching at both the high school and university level. I worked as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Georgia for 5 years and as an adjunct professor at Auburn University for 2 years. Since 2005, I have worked as a full-time Upper School French teacher. I am currently at the Westminster Schools in Atlanta where I teach Honors French 4, AP French and Honors French 6. In the summer, I coordinate exchange programs to France and grade AP French Language & Culture exams for College Board.
I consider each student's learning styles, interests and needs, and then adapt my teaching approach accordingly. My goal is to foster success and build confidence in every student, whether they are beginning their language journey or have a high level of fluency. I love sharing my passion for the French language with my students and watching them grow as linguists.
