I want students to leave me feeling empowered with the belief that they can make any change they want in the world. I aim to instill in my students just as much passion for acquiring knowledge as I have for giving it.
I hold a valid Georgia Teaching License. I have over 18 years experience. I am a two time recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award. I am certified to teach Pre-K through 8th grades. My main concentration is in the areas of Language Arts and Reading.
My goals for each session are to keep the student highly engaged, implement research based strategies, accommodate each student's individual needs and to make each student feel confident about learning.
I am very thorough with my teaching. I expect 100% effort, therefore 100% effort is given by me as an educator. Because of this, I have high test scores among my students.
