College Physics Professor who works with students from 5 to 55

I am currently an adjunct physics professor at a local Atlanta area college. My graduate degree is in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech. I have served as an officer in the military and as a corporate middle level manager in a prior life. I have two kids of elementary and middle school age.
I have found my way to the teaching profession because I have a strong passion for education. I enjoy the smiles on students faces when they are able to understand and master concepts that they previously perceived as impossible to understand. The math and sciences often rank high among those difficult subjects. I believe that I have an innate ability to simplify difficult concepts. I have trained military service members, corporate managers, college students, and my own two children. So I truly have taught the ages of 5 to 55.
