I have been teaching for 16 years. I have taught high school math, middle school math and and social studies, science and elementary math. I have tutored at a privately owned facility, as well as tutoring on my own. I believe in rigorous instruction and study habits. Kelly has been very helpful with helping me to review for a math test that I have coming up in mid-August. She has been especially helpful with explaining the steps in solving algebraic expressions. Kelly was a miracle worker. At the 11th hour, I decided I needed a tutor to help my son with his gifted program math project. The project included building a very elaborate house to scale -- rooms and all as well as completing all of the math calculations to figure area, cost, etc. My son was receptive to her coaching, and he did all of the work himself (except cut with the balsa knife). He's 10. I would recommend Kelly for tutoring of kids/teens any age; I think she would be relatable and excellent! My son loved her!

Having already had a tutor on the Geometry subject material, I was still not able to understand. We made contact with Kelly and she made time for me the same day.
